What is GRC Lifecycle Management?
GRC Lifecycle Management is LogicGate's approach to helping your team more efficiently build, test, and evolve your Risk Cloud configurations without putting your live programs at risk. It brings together a dedicated space to build and test changes, a way to sync that space with what's actually in Production (live), and a GRC Agent to help you configure faster.
How is GRC Lifecycle Management priced?
GRC Lifecycle Management is a standalone offering with a separate subscription. Please connect with your Account Team for a quote.
What is included in my GRC Lifecycle Management subscription?
-
A secondary, Development Environment: This is a separate, safe space where your Power Users can build, experiment, and validate configuration changes without any impact to your live Production environment, data, or users.
-
Environment Sync: This feature ensures your development environment configurations mirror your production environment. Sync runs in one direction only, Production into Development. It does not yet push Development changes into Production, but this capability is on the roadmap for 2027 (see below). Learn more about how Environment Sync works via this Help Center article.
-
Config Newton: A GRC Agent purpose-built to help teams build and manage application configurations. Starting in December 2026, Config Newton will help teams:
- Configuration assistance, helping Power Users work through complex builds faster, with more confidence, and with less point-and-clicks.
- Application health checks, surfacing configuration issues before they become problems and optimization recommendations.
- Build summaries, documenting what changed, to support governance and handoff.
Can I automatically move changes from Sandbox into Production?
Not yet. That capability, called Promotion, is still in development with a targeted release date of May 2027. Promotion will offer a structured way to move validated, step-level changes from Development into Production without any manual reconfiguration.
Until it's available, moving a validated change from Development into Production still requires your team to rebuild it there manually, the same as today.
Will Config Newton work in Production Environments too?
The short answer is, no. Config Newton will be exclusively available within development environments as part of a GRC Lifecycle Management subscription.
Why? Config Newton is a powerful agent that can make many modifications quickly. To ensure that the changes are not disruptive to your users and can be tested before they are implemented, Config Newton can only be used in development environments.
I already have a secondary environment. Does anything change for me?
GRC Lifecycle Management is a new offering as of September 1st, 2026.
If you purchased a standalone, secondary environment on or before August 31, 2026 then you do not have a subscription to GRC Lifecycle Management and will not have access to Config Newton or Promotion capabilities. However, we have released Environment Sync to all existing secondary environments due to the critical nature of this feature.
