How to Edit Records on a Table Report
Table Reports allow you to create reports that compile Field data from multiple related Workflows into a single report. When editing the Workflows and Fields of a Table Report, you can now access the Records from which the report is pulling to make edits to those Field Values.
Enable 'Edit Records':
From your Home Screen:
1. Navigate to Reports > Table Reports via the "Reports" tab
2. Select a Table Report and click 'Edit Report.'
3. In the Report Settings tab, click the Edit records in table report checkbox
4. Click the Save Report button on the top-right.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Who can edit records in a table?
- Anyone who has permission to view a given Table Report can put the report into edit mode. When you can edit a value depends on your permissions. By default, users can only edit records they have checked out. Additionally, they can only edit fields that are visible in the current step of the workflow where the record resides.
- Users with advanced entitlements ("Admin > All," "Edit - View all Fields," or "Bulk Update Fields") have more flexibility. They can edit a wider range of fields and potentially edit records even if they're not checked out.
-
Can I submit a record from a table report?
- At this time, submitting a record from a table report is not possible. We have an open feature request here that we are tracking closely.

- No, to refresh Calculations, a User will need to refresh the page.

What happens if the same record is listed twice in a Table Report?

When edits are made to a Record in one row, any other instances of the record will update as well.
- For example, if "Record A" is listed in Row 1 and Row 2 of a given Table Report, and the User edits Field 1 in "Record A, " then Row 1 and Row 2 will update to reflect this change.
