How to reset a user account in the event that they get locked out.
If you are not utilizing Risk Cloud's Single Sign-On feature, then you might find yourself needing to reset a User's password or account. Your user may have forgotten their password or their account may have become locked after five failed login attempts. As a User in Risk Cloud with the 'Admin - All' Module Entitlement, you can reset the User's password or account so that they can successfully login again.
Resetting a User's Password
Navigate to the Admin > Users page.
Find the user whose password needs to be reset. Click the envelope icon on the right hand side of the screen.
The user will then receive an email prompting them to reset their password.
Resetting a User Account
Navigate to the Admin > Users page.
Find the user you would like to reset. Click the Deactivate icon on the right hand side of the screen, then click Deactivate in the modal to deactivate the user.
Once deactivated, go to the Deactivated Users tab and then find that user again.
Click the Activate icon to the right hand side of the screen, then Activate in the modal to re-enable the User account.
Note: Once you reactivate the User account as described above, the user will get an email giving them a link to reset their password.
