Automated Evidence Collection (AEC) now supports pulling training campaign and employee training enrollment data from KnowBe4 on demand or on a recurring schedule, helping you centralize security awareness training evidence in Risk Cloud.
Prerequisites
To enable KnowBe4 source for AEC, please reach out to your account team or LogicGate Support.
System Requirements
To connect KnowBe4 to LogicGate for Automated Evidence Collection, ensure the following requirements are met:
1. KnowBe4 Account
A valid KnowBe4 account with API access enabled is required.
You must have permissions to access user, enrollment, and campaign data through the KnowBe4 API.
Supported regions include US, EU, and CA endpoints (e.g.,
https://eu.api.knowbe4.com).
2. How to find or generate your API key?
Log in to your KnowBe4 Admin Console.
Navigate to Account Settings > API.
View or generate a new API key.
Copy the key for authentication during setup.
Connect to KnowBe4
Follow these steps to connect your KnowBe4 source to Risk Cloud for automated evidence collection:
Navigate to Compliance > Evidence Sources.
Scroll to the Other Sources section and locate KnowBe4 Source.
Click the gear icon to configure.
Enter your KnowBe4 API Key and confirm the base API URL (region-specific).
Note: Risk Cloud only requires read-only access to KnowBe4 data.Once setup is complete, the connected KnowBe4 source will appear with an Enabled status.
Use the gear icon to disconnect or reconnect the integration at any time.
Set up AEC using the KnowBe4 Source
Once your KnowBe4 source is connected and enabled, follow the steps in Create and Configure AEC Automations.
The following evidence query options are supported today:
- Training campaigns started in last 12 months
- Employee training enrollments in last 12 months
