Build Audit Log can help you see who is making changes to a given application, at what time, and what those changes are.
Access the Build Audit Log
The Admin - All or Build Module Entitlement is required in order to access this feature. View your Roles or ask your Risk Cloud administrator if you're unsure if you have this access.
Navigate to the Application that you would like to view the Build Audit Log for. You can access the Build Audit Log from two locations:

Application Settings menu

Open the menu by clicking the Settings cog in the top right corner of the Application Canvas.

In the settings menu, click on “Export Build Audit Log”

Last Updated Timestamp

On an Application Canvas, you will see the date and time of the last Build change that occurred to an Application in your browser’s timezone

This timestamp is hyperlinked and will open the Build Audit Log export modal when clicked

Log Start Date

Changes made to an application before this date will not be included in Build Audit Log

Log Format

Users can export Build Audit Log in CSV or Excel format

Date Range Parameter
- Through BAL's Date Range Parameter, users can export Build changes within a specified timeframe
- BAL's Date Range will have the start date default to the Log Start Date, and the End Date default to the current day.
Reading the Log
Columns
-
Change ID: Can be used to group changes together as part of one build action

Date and Time: Time that the change was made in the user’s profile timezone

User: Name and email of the user who made the change
-
Will show deactivated status if applicable

Object Type

Parent Workflow Name

If the Parent Workflow name has changed, the historical audit entries will show the name that the workflow had at the time of that historical change

Use the Parent Workflow ID if you want the comprehensive list of changes using that workflow rather than the name

Object Name

If the Object name has changed, the historical audit entries will show the name that the object had at the time of that historical change

Use the Object ID if you want the comprehensive list of changes for that object rather than the name

Property: This will tell you what specifically changed about the given object.

Some examples include “Name,” “Icon,” “Required”

Previous State: What the value of the given property was before the change

This will be N/A if the audit entry is a creation
-

New State: What the value of a given property was changed to
-
This will be N/A if the audit entry is a deletion
-

Relationships: This will provide contextual information about the given object
-
Ex. A select field value will have its own audit entry. Its relationship cell will inform you which of your Select Fields this value is a part of
